Meet Our Owners

Ok... this is an older picture, but at least we look a little younger!  We opened the campground in 2006, and the water park in 2016.  It's been an amazing learning experience!
PictureChris & Cherie Kimpel, Founders & Owners of Kimpel's Hickory Acres. Cherie can be found out and about near or in the office building. Chris can be tricky to find, but you can always count on someone to give him a call and figure out where he has gone (We're pretty close to putting a tracking collar on him). He is never in one place for long and is always on the go.
